IUnetworks is implementing the Tax and Revenue Management System in Zimbabwe
Days ago, the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) and IUnetworks signed a contract to implement a Tax and Revenue Management System (TaRMS) in Zimbabwe for the modernization of the Zimbabwe tax system according to the requirements of ZIMRA. IUnetworks was the winner of the tender competition outpassing many foreign IT companies with its expertise and professional qualities.
In the framework of the contract, it is planned to design and launch a comprehensive solution for the ZIMRA, which is a software package providing the full range of functionality for the tax administration, an Online cabinet of Taxpayer via web services for the taxpayers, as well as a special module which connects the system with e-Government systems.
The system will provide transparency in taxation, reduce corruption risks, as well as enable ZIMRA to provide a variety of electronic services to taxpayers for improved tax reporting. The program was launched in May 2022 and will be completed in 30 months.
“For our company, this is one more successful jump in the steeplechase of conquering the world with our products. I am proud of our team, which made this victory possible and re-confirmed the status of Armenia as an IT country”, says Aram Mkhitaryan, IUnetworks CEO.
